The Newt Escape Day 32 and Some Missing Body Parts

Tue Jul 14, 2009, 1:15 PM
Hello dere! I disappeared for a bit...My newt had been missing for over a month now, so I bought a betta fish. He's pretty handsome though a bit tattered. Our local pet store was just bought by an older couple that keeps the place alot cleaner but they really don't know much about animals. He was in with some tiger barbs and is therefore a lil rough around the edges (his right fin is torn in two.) He's adjusting well and has built a gorgeous bubble nest. Any name ideas?

Also I got my wisdom teeth yanked yesterday. I was scared half to death to get it done! I had an incident last November when they IV'ed me to calm me down but it was just about the freakiest experience I've ever had. My limbs felt numb and it seemed that my heart would stop, even though they had been monitoring me the whole time. Well I asked to be put under while they took them out, because my friend's mom said that you could hear our teeth shatter and feel the blood drip down your throat if you just get the local anesthesia. No way! Not for me! So I get in, they lay me back in a rigid looking but actually quite comfy chair. They hooked me up with varous moniters and some oxygen and draped my eyes shut with a heavy cloth. I asked if I could have my teeth when they were done but she fed me some crap about it being a biohazard. Jerks. I mean, gosh-darn-it, they are MY teeth! >_< So, one moment I'm laying in this chair gripeing about how no one's pitched Albert Einstein's mason jarred brains, so why my teeth, when *poof* I wake up in a recovery room. There was a younger girl in the bunk next to me. I feel my pocket which appeared to be empty and I look over at her and was like, "They stole my lucky Beetle!" She was on local anestetic and laughing gas and so she's giggling up a starom while I'm seardching my pockets for a beetle carved stone my brother brought me from eygypt. I found it, it wsas jusr really deep in my pocket. I told her I found it and we started laughing some more, then the nurse hauled her out. They came back for me bout 10 minutes later, hauled me to the van and I spent the rest of the day trying to drink without apple juice drippling down my chin. My tongue, left ear, and lower lip were all completely numb until this morning so I'm sure I looked a fright. Infact, I took a look in the mirror and there was enough blood in my mouth and sticing to my teeth that I felt like some kinda vampire after a rther sloppy feeding XD My lil brother saw me after a nap and asked if the docters slit my lip by accident and I was quite tempted to ask him, "Why so serious!?" I'm much better today though, overall it was quite painless!

Also, hopefully over the course of next week, I will be submitting a new claymation for a schalrship. I am partially judged on popularity on YouTube so when I submit it, please back me up, check it out, rate it, all that jazz ^_^ It's worth $15,000 which would about pay for my first year of college! ^_^

Lastly, my birthday was the 9th and my boyfriend went full out! Her got me the movies Constantine and Acceped, a wolf t-shirt, the book Pride, Prejudice, & Zombies, and the Diamond edition of Scrabble, it rocks!!! (The college I'm going to totally has a Scrabble Club as I learned at Orientation, I cant wait!) Then two of my friends went together and got me this native American framed wolf canvas furnished in twigs and feathers, It's quite pretty ^_^

Thanks for the fave! And all those comments too. ;)

I'm too old to attend a prom but would attend a Dickens ball if available. Only familiar with waltzes and polkas so I'd like to learn some new dances. :P
